FAQ
Questions about subscriptions.
Yes. In your account or the app, you can swap to any available lot up to 24 hours before your scheduled roast date. After that, the lot is in the roast queue and cannot be swapped for that order.
Pausing suspends your subscription billing cycle without cancelling it. You choose how many weeks to pause for (1 to 8). Your subscription resumes automatically at the end of the pause period, or you can resume it manually at any time.
No. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee. You can cancel at any time from your account page. A subscription already in the roast queue for the current cycle will still ship, but no further charges will be made.
Yes. You can hold multiple active subscriptions on the same account — for example, a weekly espresso grind for your home machine and a fortnightly whole bean for your office. Each is managed and billed independently.
After each delivery, scan the bag and rate the cup on four axes: sweet, acidic, body, bitterness. In V1, our roasting team reviews your ratings before the next order and suggests a lot. In V2 (coming), this becomes automated. We are honest about the distinction.
Subscription customers have priority access to new lot drops. If a lot you are subscribed to exhausts before your order ships, we contact you directly before processing the charge and offer either a swap or a hold until the next harvest of that lot arrives.
